I bought these for my 8 month old (9m size) and 2 y/o (24m size). The straps worked fine on my chubby 8 month old, but slid right off my skinny mini 2 year old's shoulders. I tried to adjust the suspenders at the bottom on the back, but it just made the pants come up like high waters/flooders.
